I've been interested in the story line of this series and the writing has been pretty good but I was hoping it wouldn't get too sappy. However after this one I'm not sure I'm going to finish the rest. It's a little hard to read in one part how she feels power flowing through her and she defeats her foe just to be taken down, but then she rises again and feels more power than before, defeats her foe and is taken down again. And then she feels more power than she has ever felt and she just barely escapes her foe. But then later on this happens again as though the first time around wasn't actually that much power and her foe is still stronger and yet she is supposed to be stronger than her foe. Anyway, it gets a little old and I wondered if the author just forgot that the character has already experienced power coming from every core, sore, and pore of her body? So, I can only give this 3 stars because I did sort of like it but not enough for four.Product details

Slight discrepancies and long repeated passages results in a lost star for the third installment of the DotS series. The fight scenes were done well IMO, and I enjoyed the ending!
Enchanting.
I love this book, it keeps the action going without dragging on. The challenges Anastasia and Finn face keep you on your toes. The love they share is so endearing. The combination of those two things will keep you up until the break of dawn reading. Definitely read it!
I just cannot say enough wonderful things of this book. I love how the author started to give the point of view from Finn. He is truly a man we should all hope to have one day. I warn anyone that is looking for the next series, that this is one you won't put down. I cannot recommend this book enough!
Book 3 in the series finds Stasia battling for her life and her friends again. This books continues nicely where book 2 left off. Stasia learns more about her heritage, her powers, her destiny and her strength/self in this installment. By the end, she has embraced her inner goddess, but not without loss. I love this series. It is wonderfully written and leaves you clamoring for more. Highly recommend.
Wow! This is by far by favorite in the series. Stasia just keeps getting more traces and more interesting. I can't believe how strong she is. I have really fell in love with Finn and Stasia. I love. This series! Highly recommend it.
Stasia's journey to the underworld to complete her mission to become the Leader of the Tydes is in its final preparations yet she is faced with the difficult task of trying to find Finn as he was kidnapped by the evil princess who really needed to be smacked more as a child. Seriously talk about having a temper tantrum and poor Stasia is frantic to find him before it is too late. So much is happening here, plenty of twists and turns and I really enjoyed the author's imagery of the underworld and Persphone's garden paradise. Will Anastasia have what it takes to complete her destiny or will she give it all up to save the one she loves, only time will tell and it is definitely worth reading this book to find out. I was surprised at the ending as I imagined something different but the author tied up all the loose threads rather nicely. Ultimately this story is about love and devotion, a chance at redemption and the comfort of friendship that supports you when you need it the most.
